About our filament
What exactly is a "refill"?
A refill is a 1kg roll of genuine Bambu Lab PETG Basic filament on its own, without the plastic spool that Bambu's retail spools come wrapped around. You load it onto a spool you already own (or a reusable/refillable spool), which is how we're able to sell it for less than a full retail spool.
Is this genuine Bambu Lab filament?
Yes. Every refill we sell is genuine Bambu Lab PETG Basic — same formulation and specs as Bambu's own retail spools. We're not a generic or rebranded filament seller.
Do I need to already own a spool?
Yes. Refills are designed for anyone who already has a Bambu spool (from a previous purchase) or a reusable/refillable spool they'd like to re-use. If you don't have a spare spool yet, our full retail spools (where available) or Bambu's own spools are the way to go.
Does the refill include the RFID tag for AMS auto-detection?
No. Bambu's RFID tag lives in the plastic spool itself, not in the filament roll — so a spool-less refill doesn't carry it over. If you load a refill onto a spool without an RFID tag, your AMS won't auto-detect the colour or material, and you'll need to select the PETG Basic profile manually in Bambu Studio. This doesn't affect print quality at all — it's purely about auto-detection convenience.
What colours are available?
All 12 standard Bambu Lab PETG Basic colours: Black, White, Gray, Red, Yellow, Reflex Blue, Navy Blue, Misty Blue, Green, Pine Green, Bark Brown and Dark Beige.
Mystery Pack
How does the Mystery Pack work?
Each roll in a Mystery Pack is pulled at random from our full 12-colour range. You don't get to choose or request specific colours, and duplicates can happen — that unpredictability is exactly why it's priced lower than buying the same quantity of refills individually.
Can I request specific colours or a refund if I don't like the colour I got?
No — the random selection is the whole point of the Mystery Pack, so we can't accept colour-based returns or requests. If a roll arrives damaged or faulty, that's always covered — see our Refund Policy.

How do the volume discounts work?
Buy more, save more — automatically. Add 3 or more refills to your cart and 5% comes off, 5 or more gets 10% off, 8 or more gets 15% off, and 10 or more gets 20% off. The discount applies automatically at checkout — no code needed, and you can mix and match colours.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing beyond the automatic discounts?
We're currently focused on retail customers. If that changes, we'll announce it — email us at printready3d@gmail.com if you have a specific bulk order in mind.
Shipping & pickup
How fast do you dispatch?
Same day, if you order before 2:00pm AEST on a business day. See our Shipping Policy for full delivery estimates by state.
Is shipping really free?
Yes — free standard shipping Australia-wide on every order, no minimum spend required. Need it faster? A paid express shipping upgrade is available at checkout.
Do you offer local pickup?
No — we're an online-only store with no physical location, so every order ships Australia-wide. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2:00pm AEST keeps things moving fast either way.
Returns
What's your return policy?
Unopened, unused refills can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Anything damaged, faulty or incorrect is covered at our cost, any time. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
